Former
Nairobi County Executive in charge of Environment,
Evans Ondieki, has finally spoken after his abrupt dismissal by Governor
Evans Kidero.
In a video clip, Ondieki pointed out that Kidero was uncomfortable having him around because the Governor knew that he would be vying against him come 2017.
“I will be seeking that office and he knows it and that is why he is uncomfortable,” Ondieki stated.
The County official accused Kidero of corruption highlighting that he had nothing to offer.
Ondieki further indicated that the move was a diversion strategy by the Governor in order to blind the public from the massive corruption in his office.
The County Minister was fired on Tuesday after a letter from Kidero indicated that he had ceased to be an employee of the County Government and
Tom Odongo, the County Executive for Urban Renewal and Housing appointed to the position in an acting capacity.
