FORM FOUR STUDENT CRUSHED TO DEATH IN LIMURU BY A WALL

Form four student crushed to death inLimuru by a wall

There was a sombremood in Ngenia High School on

Wednesday after a Form Four student died as a
result of a school wall collapsing on their house
in Tiekunu, Limuru.
James Ng’ari succumbed to his injuries while
being rushed to Tigoni Sub-County Hospital and
was declared dead on arrival.
According to his uncle, Joseph Mararo, the boy
lived in a wooden house behind a Elsavera
School’s perimeter wall which collapsed while
he was sleeping.
Efforts to rescue him did not bear any fruits
because of heavy rains.

Mararo said that on Wednesday, the boy went
to sleep early and requested his mother,
Margaret Nyambura, to wake him up at 2 am to
revise for his ongoing exams but that was never
to be.
Police are carrying out investigations to
establish whether the wall was constructed
properly.
