QUACK NANDI DOCTOR GIVEN HEROIC RECEPTION, ENDORSED TO VIE FOR TINDERET MCA SEAT

Quack doctor Ronald Kiprotich Melly over the weekend received an heroic reception in his Tinderet home just a day after being released on Kshs 500,000 bond.Melly’s reception which was marked with pomp and colour led to his endorsement for the Tinderet MCA seat with residents branding him a hero.

A section of residents urged Melly to vie for the Tinderet Member of County Assembly seat in the coming general elections in 2017.

The quack doctor was lauded for having performed ‘successful’ surgeries. Melly is said to have been meticulous in his work despite being unqualified.

The area residents said Melly should not be punished but instead be trained for him to fully continue with his good work.

Melly was on Friday released on a Kshs 500,000 bond after he pleaded not guilty to the four charges leveled against him.Melly who was arrested in Nairobi on Monday last week, faced three charges namely; forgery of documents, using the title doctor without being licensed or registered and lastly was impersonation of a medical officer.

The case will be mentioned on December 13th.-Northrift
