Former Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu has lashed out at Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua for accusing Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka of land grabbing.
Speaking during a consultative forum at Sir Yusufali Sports Club, Ngilu termed Mutua as a 'political baby', adding that the governor should learn to respect his seniors.
"This man called Mutua should respect Kalonzo and recognise him as the Ukambani political kingmaker. He should grow up politically and learn to respect his seniors who preceded him in leadership," said Ngilu, as quoted by the Standard.
She said Mutua was a 'political suicide bomber', adding it was naive for him to link Kalonzo to land grabbing in Machakos.
Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr also dismissed Mutua's claims, saying "You cannot make such a spurious allegation without dates, place, bribe giver and source of those funds.”
This comes after Governor Mutua tabled a report before the Senate Finance Committee on Wednesday, last week, linking the Wiper Party leader to land grabbing in Mavoko.
